Is your business staring well or fighting against the wind that normally comes against business? It could be that you haven’t given it its place of leadership; I mean you have not become a really strong leaders on that business of your.
No business thrives without a sound leader; even if it looks like it is succeeding, I bet you it is for a awhile. You need to stand up and uphold your company’s leadership.
Every leader should understand that they owe the success of their business to their ability to lead the business.
Today I am going to tell you the very importance of your vision for your company be it small or big. By default, you have become a leader if you are the founder of your business or you were appointed to lead the company. Do you have or fully understand the vision for the business you are leading?
What is vision? how can you differentiate it from mission and how you can help the company and your staff to understand your vision?
Back to the very begging of this article, a vision is a clear, distinct view of the future of the business you are leading. While the mission for your business is the its purpose why it is in existence, it is static not as a dynamic as vision. For me any vision that becomes static is a mere dream in the mind of any leader.
Your staff must first and foremost see your vision written down and actively displayed by your daily action, this propels every form of communication of the vision to them. They cannot buy your vision without you properly communication it to them. Make your vision clearer, and you will see quite a good number of followers who will buy into the vision.
What should you do about your vision for your for your company as a leader? My candid advice to you is to effectively communicate it to your staff from the highest to the lowest, the more they understand your vision the better their performance in relation to that vision of yours. remember you cannot bring your vision to reality without the help of others, this is why you are called a leader.
My final the leaders vision is that you should work on it until it becomes the very culture of your company; I have come to believe that leaders are responsible to a larger extent on the company’s culture. A fully understood vision is ow the company staff runs the day to day business.
